for parents in preschool »

From work experience

S.R. Lagutina

speech therapist

Thematic exhibitions that bring great benefits in remedial work with children occupy a large place in work with the parent. The themes of the exhibitions are different: “Speech disorders”, “Autumn”, “Fruits and vegetables”, “Wild and domestic animals, and their babies”, “Happy New Year!”, “Zimushka-winter”, “Mothers need all sorts, mothers all important ”,“ Spring ”,“ City Street ”,“ My Moscow ”,“ Soon to school! ”,“ Hello, summer! ”.

Thematic exhibitions help parents to find ways to expand, refine, and enhance children's knowledge about the environment, teach them to be curious, observant, to talk coherently, colorfully, and grammatically about everything they see, hear, and experience.

The brochure selected content of some of our thematic exhibitions for parents.

In thematic exhibitions we pay great attention to familiarizing children with seasonal phenomena. Adults should develop and satisfy the curiosity of children, answering the questions: “Why?”, “Why?”, “Why?”. In order to correctly answer all “why?”, Adults themselves must know, love and be able to observe nature.

Let us dwell on one of the seasonal thematic exhibitions for parents.

"Winter-Winter"

This theme is framed on 5 cards.

The material of seasonal thematic exhibitions for parents is given gradually over a period of three months.

According to the calendar, winter begins on December 1st. Scientists believe that the beginning of winter begins on December 22. The sun on this day is low in the sky, the shadows are long and the shortest day of the year.

And in nature, winter comes every time at different times. The first frost is not winter yet. Frosts are replaced by heat, the snow falls and melts several times. The sky is clouded with heavy clouds. December thaws are traditional for our climate.

But winter does not depart from its legal month. It is about to become generous on fluffy snow and frost. Winter begins when the air temperature is set below zero, water bodies freeze, and the ground is covered with a solid snow cover.

In winter and the sun is low in the sky. The days are short and cold.

January  - the most severe of all months. Frost draws fancy patterns on the glass, everything is covered with snow, the forest stands in snowdrifts. By the end of January, the day will noticeably increase. The sun lingers longer in the sky and warms. On sunny frosty days you can see in the snow. dark spotsand small transparent icicles hang from the roofs.

February  - the snowiest month. Heavy snowstorms and blizzards happen this month. Every day the sun rises higher, shines brighter, warms more.

Do you know where snow is born and what is snow?

Snow  - this is a set of beautiful snowflakes, they fall and fall from a height to the ground, to trees, to the roofs of houses - clean, fragile, sparkling. They also fall from the clouds like rain; it used to be thought that snow was freezing droplets of water. But here was the mystery of the birth of snowflakes.

They learned that snow never forms from water droplets. Water droplets can become gradins, lumps opaque icewhich sometimes goes in the summer along with rain or during a thunderstorm, but water droplets never turn into snowflakes, beautiful hexagonal stars.

Water vapors rise very high above the ground, where there is a strong cold, here tiny ice crystals form from water vapor. These are not the snowflakes that fall to the ground, they are still very small. But the hexagonal crystal grows all the time, finally becoming a beautiful star. Snowflakes slowly gather in flakes and fall to the ground.

(According to M. Gumilevskaya.)

Winter has come. How much joy she brought to the children! In winter there are sunny days when the sky is blue and everything is flooded with sunshine. It shines brightly, but does not heat. People dress warmly. And the children, playing, warm up, their cheeks redden. Fun guys, no one wants to leave the walk.

And sometimes there are cloudy days: the sky is dark gray, houses, fences and trees are covered with frost, a layer of shaggy needles.

On walks in kindergarten  children are taught to take care of nature, pay attention to its beauty, learn to observe nature phenomena. We go around the site: inspect the bushes, talk about the benefits that bring trees. We observe nature in the evening: it quickly darkens, the snow becomes bluish, the stars are lit in the sky ...

We teach children to slide along the paths, to ride on a sled from low mountains. Fill the slide. Making snow constructions. We play outdoor games, clearing the blades of the track. We take care of the wintering birds: we hang the feeders, feed them. We remind you that birds can not be fed black bread. We observe sparrows, crows, daws, tits, bullfinches who have flown in to feed.

Huge opportunities for the physical, moral, aesthetic development of children gives a walk in the fresh air.

What to look for.

Walking with children pay attention to winter phenomena in nature. It's snowing frequently in the winter. Watch how it falls. Ask the children where it goes to, watch the snow whirl in the air during a snowfall. After the snowfall, show what high drifts piled up on the street, how to clean the streets with snow machines. In frosty weather, consider separate stars with six rays with the children; they are clearly visible on the dark mitts.

Many children try to try the snow. Show them that the snow is dirty. Put snow in the cup, it will melt indoors, and dirty water will remain on the bottom.

Go with the children to the rink, tell and show that the ice is hard and clear. The rink is filled with water, and it freezes in the cold, you can skate on the ice.

Teach children to observe and explain: warm or cold, frosty? Is there a sun in the sky? ( Sunny overcast.) Is it snowing or not? ( Snowfall.) Is there wind? ( Blizzard.)

When you go out for a walk, ask the children if they have noticed that there are more sunny days and the frosts are stronger.

During the thaw, show what kind of snow, ask what kind of snow it is better to build, sculpt a snowman.

On a sunny day, look at the crows, listen to their caws, listen to the chirping of tits, and sparrows. Pay attention to the different voices of the birds. Which of them live close to home? Where do pigeons and sparrows gather? How do people help hungry birds? What can feed the birds? (Birds can be fed with cereals, sunflower seeds, pumpkin, watermelon. Crush seeds better. You should not give roasted seeds to birds. Birds can be fed with white bread crumbs, cottage cheese, creamy margarine. Woodpeckers and tits love to peck unsalted fat and meat.)

Who can be seen near the trough? (Snegirev, raven, sparrows, jackdaws, pigeons, tits, etc.) Which bird do we call “forest doctor” and why?

Cut the bark on the stump with a knife and see which insects spend the winter under the bark of the tree.

Explain to children the meaning of folk will:

In winter, the sun through tears smiles.

Winter is not summer: wearing a fur coat.

Cold winter is hot summer.

Winter is snowy - summer is rainy.

January - frosts, February - blizzards.

Winter without snow - summer without bread.

Feed the birds in the winter, they will repay you in the summer.

Guess these riddles with the children:

Bel, not sugar, no legs, and goes. ( Snow.)

I, as a grain of sand, is small, and I cover the earth. ( Snow.)

Tablecloth is white all over the land wore. ( Snow.)

In the winter lay on the ground, in the spring in the river ran. ( Snow.)

What properties of snow have you learned from these riddles?

Another important quality of snow is interesting - the ability to purify the air. As it falls, it takes a lot of dust from the air.

Most children 6-7 years old are poor in adjectives. They still do not know or do not know how to explain the properties and signs of objects.

Help the children figure out and ask what happens:

snow  (white, soft, light, fluffy, sticky, cold, shiny ...);

snowflakes  (white, light, shaggy, fluffy, beautiful, patterned, transparent, cold ...); What can snowflakes do? (fly, whirl, curl, dance, flutter ...);

ice  (smooth, shiny, slippery, hard, fragile, transparent, colorless);

skiing  (wooden, long or short, yellow, red, children).

Teach children to compare (what they are like and not like) ice and snow, ice and glass, ice and a mirror, snow and cotton.

Compare spruce and pine, spruce and larch. How are their branches located? What color is bark? What are the length of the needles? What is the difference between larch needles and ate? How often have eaten, pine and larch change their outfit? (The pine tree lasts for 2-3 years, and the spruce tree lasts 5-7 years, the larch changes its outfit every year.) Which conifer tree is afraid of the dark? ( Pine).

Compare the crow and daw in appearance. Compare your observations with G. Skrebitsky's description: “It’s not at all difficult to distinguish between them. The jackdaw is half the size of a crow and all black, only around the neck are gray feathers, as if it is tied with a gray kerchief. And the crow is the opposite: the whole body is gray, only the head, neck, wings and tail are black. ”

Such joint work of teachers and parents contributes not only to the elimination of the speech defect, the expansion and activation of children's knowledge, but also prepares children for schooling.

Preschool childhood is a good time for nurturing the tree of goodness and beauty.

Children enthusiastically sing and dance, sculpt and draw, play musical instruments, show younger preschoolers musical fairy tales, engage in creative work. Creativity helps the child to learn to see beauty and goodness in the world around him, making the child's life richer, fuller, more joyful. But how to teach preschoolers kindness, patience, the desire to help others? How to convey to him the intellectual wealth of the ancestors? How not to lose that ability - the ability to speak with your child in one language - the language of art?

L.S. Vygotsky said: “Creativity is not the lot of only the geniuses who created great works of art. Creativity exists wherever a person imagines, combines, creates something new. ”

The first steps in art are so simple that they do not require much effort from a child. He is pleased to discover the world of matter. Gradually, experience will come, skills will be formed, and he will easily perform a large, complex work on his own. In addition, today, more than ever, there is a need for the formation of a harmoniously developed personality. Personalities that will study, protect and develop the spiritual heritage of our people. All this has a permanent meaning: a person who sees and knows how to appreciate beauty will preserve and increase it, such people are not capable of immoral acts. That is why in our kindergarten classes for the development of creative abilities of children, including manual labor in the activities of older preschoolers, are so relevant.

Searching unconventional methods  and technologies we use such techniques as paper-folding and paper-plastic.

The main goal that we set while working with children is to involve children in observation of reality, to develop the most important skills for artistic creativity, to see the world through the eyes of an artist, to form observation and attentiveness, to provide freedom in reflection - by means of art accessible to the child - of their vision of the world. Therefore, we visit our local history museum, get acquainted with the exhibits presented, travel to the park, tour the city, organize exhibitions, watch the world around us, the child discovers his full color, gets joy from this discovery and realizes his potential in realizing his vision.

We bring up children in uniting in themselves various types of creativity: drawing, modeling, application, construction, artistic work.

And there is always the problem of how to organize an exhibition of children's works.

The implementation of artistically productive activities for any program includes:

· Conducting classes, joint activities with teachers and independent activities in drawing, application, modeling and designing;

and last but not least:

· Use of products of children's creativity in decorating the space surrounding the child / the interior of the kindergarten and the group in particular /.

1. Exhibited:

- graphic plane works

/ drawings, applications, collages, works made by the technique of plasticine /;

- graphic, voluminous work

/ crafts from plasticine / clay, salt dough /, crafts from natural and waste material, mock-ups, volumetric compositions in boxes /.

For these purposes, stands for work are provided and arranged in the dressing rooms of the groups.

For pictorial plane works:

in the dressing room stand or section of the wall of a large size, so that the work of all children, with a limited edge. Pastel color without expressive pattern. With pockets or stretched string for decorative clothespins. With a brightly decorated title or image - the emblem. For long-term storage, it is convenient to keep a folder segregator with files for the number of all children.

For graphic, voluminous works:

stand or stand - a pinwheel divided into sectors with the child’s name or a picture of it, located as far as possible at the children's eye level. On it exhibited individual work. Large bulk works / models, large compositions from natural material, collective works, compositions in boxes / are put on the table in the locker room or, if there is no such possibility, on children's lockers. Children explained that this is an exhibition for parents.

Also, children's work can be exhibited in the visual corner.

It is advisable to have in the group RULE:

Works can be taken home when they have already been removed from the exhibition and are in a specially designated place for long-term storage: a folder for drawings with files for each child. Now they can decorate the room of the child at home.

If the exhibition is empty, it seems that there is no work with children!

2. Themes of exhibitions.

Exhibitions may be

· Everyday: dedicated to the subject of one class and exhibiting

productive work all children.

The exhibition "Autumn Gifts" / dried flowers, fruits /.

· Thematic: works from different classes on one topic.

The exhibition "Underwater kingdom."   Drawings from classes, joint and independent activities "Family of Fish", "Who Lives in the Sea-Ocean?", "Palace of the Sea King" ...

· Regular: the theme of the exhibition is one, but the pictures on it change over time.

The exhibition "Seasons".   May be small in size. Decorated on a separate stand / or sheet of drawing paper /. Works are changing: “Golden Autumn” --- “Rainy Windy Day” --- “Winter Landscape” --- “Children on a Winter Walk” --- “Snowdrop Peeped Blue Eyes” --- “Summer Flowers” ...Can be selected as the work of all children, and the best work. Suitable for illustrating long-term project activities.

3. Registration of works

If the exhibition is everyday, then the flat works in the smoothed form are exposed to the space allotted to them. If the exhibition is thematic or regular, then the works being exhibited / planar / must be pasted on the mat / sheet of paper of a larger format, in a contrasting color; can also be painted or decorated with children.

Collective works, and work posted indefinitely, and combined into one big work are hung out in any accessible place, including the group room for interior decoration at eye level of children.

All works are tagged.

If the work is collective or in collaboration with the teacher, this is also reflected in the tag.

date of activity may be indicated.

4.   Another aspect of this question is important: parental attitude towards kindergarten! They do not see the daily, hard work of educators and specialists! They can make an impression about the kindergarten, about the caregivers from communication with teachers and on the products of children's creativity. Therefore, it is so important to arrange the work of the pupils neatly, brightly, with a twist: worthy of the work of those people who work on the development of children in kindergarten!

In kindergarten, a child is able to motivate the choice of material, to convey mood, emotional attitude to the world around. Famous and beloved heroes come to visit preschoolers, children get acquainted with the life and work of artists, sculptors, conduct conversations, stories, fantastic stories, use musical and poetic images in their work. In order to check the assimilation of terms, concepts, and as psychological relief, we conduct games: “Young Designer”, “Decorate Costume”, “Design the Interior”, “Replace Items”, “Merry Color”, “Art Salon”, etc. We acquaint preschoolers with various new methods and technologies used in design:

“Scrapbooking”, “Remake”, “Decoupage”, “Pesography”. We teach the ability to model clothes, while there is a formation of aesthetic taste, artistic outlook, understanding of designing clothes, as a creative process, the acquisition of knowledge and skills to create models of clothes. Children acquire knowledge of the theoretical foundations of costume design; about the patterns of visual perception in a suit.

We attach to the architectural and artistic design and modeling of objects with arrangements-decorations from different materials. We teach children to explain, reason, compare, give full answers, our children are happy to tell what they did, how they did, and what happened as a result. The world of things around us is very diverse. There are objects that serve us for a long time, and there are those that become unnecessary. They are called waste material. This includes a variety of plastic bottles, lids, corks, cases of chocolate eggs, containers of yogurt, buttons, beads, wire, and much more, from which we adults most often try to get rid of and throw them into the trash can. But, and unnecessary things get a second life, if you try to see something unusual in them. It is only necessary to dream, turn on your imagination, teach our children to do this. A variety of natural material (cones, acorns, twigs, seeds, grass, etc.) and ease of processing allow it to be widely used in work with preschoolers.

Watching children's creativity shows what value the child attaches to his “riches” (pebbles, beads, cloth scraps, buttons, etc.). In our opinion, these are unnecessary things - trash, garbage, but in children's hands they turn into real “jewels” - a bead is pearls from a distant blue sea, a shred - a princess dress, a candy wrapper - a tropical butterfly. It is this ability to see the unusual in the ordinary we use in the classroom children's design. In the garden there is a corner of beauty (crafts made by children alone or with teachers, or parents), a permanent exhibition of children's works, corners of creativity, reproductions of paintings, books about art. We acquaint children with various activities, their characteristics history. The union of educators, children and parents in working together to introduce them to the world of creativity allows them to improve the pedagogical preparedness of parents in raising their own children, and contributes to the expansion of forms of cooperation between the family and kindergarten.

In our garden, there are “Master Classes”, “Parent-designer”, they take part in the projects “Theatrical Mask” and “Candy Season”. Costumes were made of waste material, the presentation “How beautiful this world was”, crafts, compositions of different materials, “Miss-2009” with the participation of children and parents, “Colorful flower garden” decoration on sites with great success. Parents of pupils are very helpful in mastering new technologies. They are interested in this and in their free time they come to the group and help us. Parents prepare different material. Included in the creative projects conducted in our garden. Go with children to the forest and the park, watching for natural phenomena. They consolidate the acquired knowledge and skills in the image of objects. They work out “difficult” techniques with a child. Without the help of parents, we would not have achieved results.

In the course of his creative activity, the little master makes many discoveries and achieves personal achievements. Although objectively he does not create anything absolutely new, unknown, the result of his labor is subjective, since in this process itself his primacy is concluded for the child. The result obtained is the first and very important step of children's creativity. Do-it-yourself creation of products is a universal educational tool that can balance one-sided intellectual activity. little manso that it develops comprehensively. Classes design activities are designed to influence the mind, will, feelings of children, to encourage them to creative expression. They also solve a psychological problem - let our children have a state of emotional comfort, a sense of the joy of childhood. This topic is relevant today,

Thematic Exhibitions

The idea of creating a mini-exhibition in the group arose for several reasons. First, this form of work allows educators to successfully solve a whole range of educational tasks: to introduce preschoolers to cultural and aesthetic values, to encourage them to engage in creative activities; contribute to the enrichment of ideas about the natural and man-made world, develop cognitive interests; raise the culture of parents. Secondly - my own children's experience of collecting collections and family traditions of parents in this direction. At first I was fond of collecting stamps, calendars and animal postcards. My father was engaged in collecting mock mini-railway. His father collected postage stamps and postcards. The younger sister collected in the collection of various natural pebbles. At one time, a collection of different piglets was gathered - ceramic, soft, rubber, then a collection of postcards from different cities of Russia appeared (it is replenished to this day), and a collection of Easter eggs appeared due to beading.

The way out was in my professional activity as a kindergarten teacher. The organization of thematic exhibitions in the group allowed solving simultaneously several of these tasks. First of all, with regard to the organization of interaction with the families of pupils - no one remained indifferent or passive in collecting exhibits for thematic exhibitions, each child and his parent found at home the subject that can be replenished insert.

Another task is educational. After all, the first attempts to classify necessarily contain the beginnings of classification. This is important for the intellectual development of children. In addition, thematic exhibitions carry informational material about the subject of the exhibition, its purpose, origin and creation. This is an inexhaustible information material that can be used in the classroom to get acquainted with the outside world, with the objective world.

And what aesthetic potential does the design of mini-exhibitions in the group room contain! This is the choice of location, placement of objects of the exposition, additions, the inclusion of children's interests in the process of creating the interior of the exhibition. It all depends on the creative potential of the teacher, his ability to involve children and parents in the search process and the cathedral items for the exhibition.

The first thematic exhibition was organized in September in the preparatory group. The topic was suggested by the children themselves, who shared their impressions about the summer holidays spent at sea. Many of them brought souvenirs from sea shells, shells themselves of different shapes. Having asked the children to bring them to the group, we jointly designed the “Sea Shell” corner, found books, illustrations, classified and collected various sea and river shells in a separate box with cells. At the lesson on acquaintance with the outside world, the children talked about the exhibits brought, got acquainted with how people used shells in the past, how they mined them, how they were valuable and how they are used in the modern world. Our children were impressed by the functionality of the use of this natural material, and its beauty, and the quaintness of the forms.

This occupation so fascinated us that my next step was to think over the topics of other exhibitions, to develop a system for organizing them in other age groups. New Year was approaching: the change of the autumn period to the winter - the change of seasons: time:! So the subject for older children is watches, besides, we solve the educational task of forming temporary performances in children. Very good additional material for the study of varieties of watches. What only we did not see the clock with the children! Children and parents gladly brought an old watch, wrist, sand, electronic, etc., told about how this watch came into the family, different stories from the life of watches. In addition, together with children and parents, an album was created for viewing with illustrative material and the poetic text of different poets about hours and time, books were picked up, watch models were made for practical study in class. The important thing in this collection was that the children could touch objects, touch and "feel" time.<Рисунок 1>

On New Year's Eve in the group, we organized an exhibition of snowmen. The children brought snowman figurines, figured candles, Christmas-tree decorations, postcards, pictures, calendars, souvenirs, household utensils with the image of the main character of the exhibition - cups, plates, pot holders, towels. There was not a single family that would not contribute to the creation of this exhibition. To maintain interest, we read and studied the verses with our children, listened to the audio recording of Andrei Usachev's School of Snowmen, drew, sculpted snowmen from dough, snow, remembered cartoons and songs that have a snowman character.<Рисунок 2 >

I would like to note that the period of exposure in the group should not exceed two weeks, while there is an active interest in the exhibition, which can be supported by various forms of organization of children's activities.

In the older preschool years, thematic exhibitions created taking into account the gender-specific features of children were informative. This is an exhibition of military equipment for the Defender of the Fatherland holiday and an exhibition of porcelain pupae for the International Women's Day on March 8. Similarly, according to the mini-exhibitions, various forms of the organization of children's activities were held.<Рисунок 3 >

My passion for collecting Easter eggs was reflected in the exhibition in the spring, the purpose of which was to acquaint children with folk traditions, to introduce the culture of their people, to the traditions of making and decorating Easter eggs, without affecting the religious aspect.<Рисунок 4 >

Unusually held a thematic exhibition "Curiosities from the garden" and "We decorate the table." In addition to introducing exhibits into the group of homework, together with the children and their parents, there was a lesson where they were given the opportunity to create together with a child of their bizarrely grown vegetables some object or a fairy tale character. For example, from a turnip with two tails - a girl with bows, turn a tortilla into a tortoise turtle, potatoes into a hippopotamus, a radish into Buratino with a long nose, a sunflower into a lion cub, and a pumpkin into a carriage for Cinderella. In parallel, another part of parents with children created decorations for the holiday table. Here the mothers had the opportunity to show their creativity in the culinary art. As a result, masterpieces were created - a snow-white swan from an apple, a lily from an onion with a frog, a crystal slipper from a zucchini, a goldfish from a carrot, a crocodile from a cucumber, a mouse-nurushki from boiled eggs and much more. How much pleasure and emotion each participant gets!<Рисунок 5 >

I particularly wanted to talk about the exhibition dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. This thematic exhibition is very touching and exciting. Indeed, almost every family has a relative who participated in this tragic event in the history of our Motherland. The subject of this exhibition has great potential for the patriotic education of children, the formation of pride in their homeland and people, the education of a citizen of their country. Parents, together with their children, brought family albums with photographs of the war years, postcards, medals, items related to the war, found books about the war, made mock-ups of aircraft, suspended mobils, mock-ups of battles, postcards. No one was indifferent.<Рисунок 6 >

Let me remind you that this type of organization of children's activities involves close cooperation with the family, its active involvement and feasible participation in the process of creating mini-exhibitions, involves the inexhaustible exchange of information about the collected exhibits, participation in their manufacture. Also, on the basis of the new Federal educational requirements for the educational program of a pre-school educational institution, there have been changes in the structure of the educational process. In this regard, the mandatory part of the educational program should include the time allotted for interaction with the families of children in the implementation of the main educational program of the preschool institution. And in order to realize this interaction, of course, a tutor will need a lot of effort and creative investment. The teacher will have to provide parents with proper information, conduct visual information campaign on various options for parents to participate in mini-exhibitions, give them "reminders" - brochures with explanations and explanations, with illustrative material, participation criteria, etc., in addition to this verbally indicate the purpose of organizing exhibitions, the necessary actions of parents. After the exposure is completed, it is necessary for parents' attention to provide a photo report on various forms of organizing children's activities in the mini-exhibition. It would be nice to have a photo album to collect photos of exhibitions, which in turn will be a cumulative "bank" of the creative activity of the educator. To exchange experiences and organize relationships with other age groups, you can organize days to visit exhibitions - invite children of other age groups and conduct a mini-tour, talking about the exhibits.

There remains only the issue of storage of exhibits and further use in practical work. If the kindergarten has parallel age groups, it is possible to transfer the materials of the exhibition to them for registration in the group, so the exhibition becomes “mobile” and the children of other groups have the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits of the thematic mini-exhibition. Children and parents sometimes pick up those exhibits that are dear to them as souvenirs or the memory of an event, or donated to the collection in a group for future use. In turn, we collect the exhibits in containers, sign and remove them for storage in a teaching cabinet. Hand-made exhibits can be used during the fair on Shrovetide week, where children and their parents can purchase the item they like.<Рисунок 7 >

As a result of such creative and practical activities, a system of organizing thematic mini-exhibitions in kindergarten groups emerged in my practice, which is reflected in the table “Thematic mini-exhibitions in kindergarten”. When planning, the principles of museum pedagogy were used: clarity, taking into account age characteristics, the principle of activity in learning, learning through the experience of a child.

We, adults, should surround the child with beauty - with all the beautiful things that we can, whenever possible introduce children to the objective world, nurture their interest in the world of objects.

An exhibition for a child is, first of all, a world of things that are unfamiliar to him. Making this world understandable and interesting for a child is the task of adults.
