How is the USE scores translated in the Russian language and what is the minimum and maximum number of them you can get? These questions are one of the most exciting for both senior students themselves and for their parents and teachers. After checking the final testing, a primary score is set: from 0 to 58. For each assignment, a certain number of them is provided: from 1 to 5. The more difficult it is, the more points the graduate receives. Evaluation of the results of writing an essay is carried out in a different way. For it, schoolchildren can be awarded from 0 to 24 points.

Then the primary points are converted into test ones. They are indicated in the certificate of the unified state examination. It is this result that is taken into account when entering universities.

How many points do you need to score to talk about successful testing? It should be borne in mind that students who have received a certificate cannot always apply for admission to universities. It is possible to speak about successful mastering of the main general educational program and the possibility of entering a university only if the student scored 16 primary, or 36 test points, respectively. will be taken into account in the ranking of the student in the list of applicants. The average passing grade is at least 65-75. Counting the USE results is not the easiest procedure. Let's take a look at how your knowledge is assessed, and how scaling, primary and test scores affect it.

Primary scores vary from subject to subject. Each completed USE task is estimated at 1 or more points. The sum of these points is the primary score of the examination paper. Further, a correspondence is established between the primary and test scores (in this case, the maximum test score is always 100).

The scale for translating primary points into scaled ones depends on the complexity of the tasks and the statistical analysis of the USE results for all exam participants and is calculated using a special computer program. This scale is not linear.

The primary score is the sum of the grades for completed assignments. In this case, a correctly completed task of part A or B is estimated at 1 point, part C - up to 4 points.
The test score is a point on a 100-point scale obtained using special statistical processing of the completed forms at the stage of final processing of the results.

Another feature of the conversion scale is that a small change in the primary score at the edges of the scale (that is, when the primary score is close to zero or to the maximum value) leads to a significant change in the test score (for example, 1 primary score corresponds to 6 test scores in all subjects, except languages), while in the middle of the scale, a change in the primary score by 1 results in a change in the test score by 1 or 2.

Why are 60 test points awarded for 63% of completed tasks?

The percentage of correctly completed tasks is the number of correctly (partially correct) completed tasks in relation to the maximum possible score for the test. The final (test) score is a score given taking into account the difficulty of completing each task, and is determined by a specialized procedure - scaling.

How is the final score determined?

The specification for each subject indicates how many primary points are awarded for each correctly completed CMM task. When processing the examination paper, the primary points for correctly completed tasks are summed up. Conversion to test scores is carried out by a special program using an approved scaling technique.

Verification and processing of USE forms in the Russian language and mathematics in the region must be completed no later than 6 days, and in other subjects - 4 days after the corresponding exam.

The minimum threshold confirming successful passing of the exam was 40 points in 2008, and 37 points in 2009. In accordance with the current regulatory framework, since 2009, the transfer of USE scores to a five-point assessment system has not been carried out to mark the certificate.

For a graduate to obtain a certificate, the results of the USE in the Russian language and mathematics are important.
